The exact audit framework we use before redesigning any Amazon listing. Go through each section, score honestly, and you'll know exactly what needs fixing.

Main Image Audit

Your main image is the only thing shoppers see in search results. It determines your click-through rate.

  • Does the product fill 85%+ of the frame?
  • Is it shot at a slight angle (not flat-on)?
  • Is the background pure white with no artifacts?
  • At thumbnail size (200px), can you clearly identify the product?
  • Does it look premium compared to the top 5 competitors in your search?

Secondary Images (Images 2–7)

These are your sales pitch. Each image should serve a specific purpose.

  • Image 2, Hero claim: Does it make one bold, clear benefit statement?
  • Images 3 to 5, Features: Does each highlight ONE benefit (not feature) with minimal text?
  • Image 6, Trust: Reviews, ratings, comparison chart, or "as seen in"?
  • Image 7, Lifestyle: Does it show the product in use and trigger an emotional response?
  • Is the design style consistent across all 7 images?
  • Are all images optimized for mobile (text readable at phone size)?

  • Does it include your primary keyword naturally?
  • Is the brand name first?
  • Does it communicate the key benefit, not just the product name?
  • Is it under 200 characters and readable (not keyword-stuffed)?

Scoring Guide

  • 60–70: Your listing is competitive. Optimize for incremental gains.
  • 40–59: Significant gaps. A professional redesign will likely lift conversion 30–50%.
  • Below 40: Your listing is leaving money on the table. Prioritize images and A+ content immediately.
